New Mexico Scenery

I recently took a trip out to northern New Mexico for a friend’s wedding.  While there, I took a number of pictures of the various scenery.  A local was telling me that within a 40-50 mile span, there were 5 different topographical regions ranging from desert all the way up to snow covered mountains.  The trip was incredible, and I wish I had more time to study the plants and landscape.  The landscape in most yards is a lot different than the landscape here in the midwest, mainly because the cost of water is too high to make it affordable.

Here are a number of scenic pictures from the trip.
